Things to do & see
Only 600 metres to the mall for Sunday markets, shopping and nightclubs (Irish pubs a block further). A supermarket is just 500 metres.
A visit to Magnetic Island is a must, as is Billabong Sanctuary. Townsville has great dive and snorkelling trips to the reef, and good dive schools. Divers! Don't miss the world renowned Yongala wreck dive. Our wonderful Strand Beach, The Aquarium, Museum and cultural centre are only 10 or 15 mins by foot.
